Ndamukong Suh will sign with #Dolphins on Tuesday based off parameters around $114 million and $60 million guaranteed, per sources.

The Dolphins look to have landed the top free agent of the off-season in what has become an annual event for Miami. Two years ago, they landed wide receiver Mike Wallace, who held out for the 2nd half of the season finale because he was unhappy with his targets. The Dolphins tried to upgrade to Randall Cobb this off-season, but were unable to land him.
Last season, they grabbed the top offensive tackle on the market in Branden Albert, who subsequently tore his ACL and MCL in Week 10. His current status for Week 1 is unknown.
So while they add defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh to their roster, Suh's impact remains to be seen. By all accounts, coach Joe Philbin does a poor job of managing the locker room and Suh is just more stress on the roster.
The idea of facing Suh and Cameron Wake twice per season is a lot to digest, but Wake is 33 years old, so who knows how long this duo will remain productive.
Still, Suh is individually a great player and provides even more reason for New England to invest in their interior line.
The Patriots fielded one of the weakest interior lines last season, although that was partially due to the carousel at guard. New England used Jordan Devey, Marcus Cannon, Josh Kline, Ryan Wendell, Dan Connolly, and Cameron Fleming at guard throughout the season and their final starters, Connolly and Wendell, can be improved.
While it's never smart to invest in players as a reaction to other teams, this is a case of need countering your division rivals. Bill Belichick cares first about winning the division to reach the playoffs and the easiest way to do that is by beating your divisional rivals.
