Former New England Patriots linebacker Brandon Spikes' 2011 AFC Championship ring was posted on eBay and sold today. It turns out that Spikes' ring had been stolen, according to Spikes' agent, via the Herald's Jeff Howe.

Uberstine told me Spikes is filing a police report, and eBay has been notified.

The ring sold today for $19,499. If Spikes didn't want his ring on the market, then hopefully he and his team will be able to locate the stolen goods and restore them to their rightful owner.
Spikes spent four seasons with the Patriots, from 2010-2013, before spending the past season with the Bills. Spikes helped the 2011 Patriots reach the Super Bowl, which they ultimately lost to the New York Giants.
