Tomorrow, the New England Patriots will kick off their training camp. Today, veteran players reported and had their physical examinations. As a result of the tests, three players were placed on the Non-Football Injury (NFI) list, according to the NFL transaction wire (and reported first by Shalise Manza Young):

The trio joins a group of nine players, who were placed on reserve lists two days ago. Among the nine, one – third-string quarterback Matt Flynn – was placed on the NFI list (the rest on the Physically Unable to Perform list).
As usual, no further information has been disclosed as to why the three players were placed on the list. What we do know, however, is that they can be activated off the list at anytime during camp but cannot re-enter once declared active.
