New England Patriots Nominated for Five ESPYs, Help With Voting!

The Patriots have been nominated for five of the top categories in ESPN's awards ceremony.

The New England Patriots have been nominated for five ESPY's and you can help them win in each of their categories!

Head coach Bill Belichick has been nominated for Coach/Manager of the Year, where he will face off against UCONN's Geno Auriemma, Duke's Coach K, Ohio State's Urban Meyer, and the Warriors' Steve Kerr. Each coach won their sport's championship, and all but Kerr are regarded amongst the best coaches in their sports history. It wouldn't be a shock to see Kerr with the upset, so go vote for Belichick!

The Patriots have also been nominated under the Best Game for Super Bowl XLIX, where the clinched their fourth Super Bowl title in franchise history. The game is up against an Athletics-Royals MLB Wild Card game and a Spurs-Clippers NBA opening round game seven. The Patriots should win easily, but every vote counts!

Quarterback Tom Brady has been nominated for the Best NFL Player, and faces Packers QB Aaron Rodgers, Texans DL J.J. Watt, former-Cowboys RB DeMarco Murray, and Steelers WR Antonio Brown. Rodgers is a big favorite, although Watt will likely collect the neutral vote. Brady needs your help!

Tight end Rob Gronkowski is up for Best Comeback Athlete, after winning the NFL's Comeback Player of the Year award. He faces the NBA's Derrick Rose, skiing's Lindsey Vonn, and MLB's Alex Freaking Rodriguez. Gronk honestly deserves this victory, although I wouldn't begrudge anyone messing with the vote so A-Rod won something. It'd be fitting.

And finally, cornerback Malcolm Butler's interception is up for the Best Play of the Year, and it's making its way through the gauntlet. The voting started with sixteen plays, and it's whittled down to eight. Butler was the 4th seed, which shows the strength of the competition. Go help Butler win another award!
