Pats Pulpit Podcast Episode 005: Judge Berman, Packers Review, Saints Preview

The Patriots are deep into the preseason and need to start preparing for a potential game without Tom Brady. How is the offensive looking?

Greg M. Cooper-USA TODAY Sports

How about some actual football? The New England Patriots squared off against the Green Bay Packers and they have an upcoming game against the New Orleans Saints. Football is so much more fun when it doesn't involve legal documents.

Of course, Tom Brady's legal battle is still an important aspect of the Patriots preseason. Judge Berman, from the New York courts in charge of the DeflateGate appeal, appears to be leaning towards Brady and the NFL Players Association, but no one knows how this will end. Hopefully soon.

If you want to skip DeflateGate, jump to 10:15 where Alec and Rich discuss the Packers game from last Thursday. James White and Trey Flowers get some love and the new-look secondary gets a review against the most potent offense in the league.

Jump to 21:15 to listen to Alec and Rich talk about the upcoming week against the Saints, including players that will be under additional scrutiny.

Oh, and Rich leads Alec 1-0. Listen to hear why.
