The (1-0-0) New England Patriots will travel to face the (1-0-0) Buffalo Bills

The Patriots will face their first divisional opponent as they take on the recharged Bills franchise in Buffalo. Head coach Rex Ryan is a familiar foe and he, once again, is excited for his chances to take down the Patriots. The Patriots have won 26 of the past 30 games against the Buffalo Bills.

Quarterback Tom Brady has 23 wins over the Buffalo Bills, the second most of any quarterback over any opponent. Brett Favre has 26 wins over the Detroit Lions, and 23 wins over the Chicago Bears.

The Patriots have former Bills on the roster in DT Alan Branch and TE Scott Chandler, both key players. The Bills have former Patriots in QB Matt Cassel and TE Matthew Mulligan, who have depth roles on the team. Patriots offensive line coach Dave DeGuglielmo used to work under Rex Ryan as the offensive line coach of the Jets in 2012.
