Pats Pulpit Podcast Episode 010: The Patriots Beat the Bills and Previewing the Jaguars

The Patriots took down a divisional foe and look to take an undefeated record to their early bye week.

Kevin Hoffman-USA TODAY Sports

The New England Patriots came out on top against the Buffalo Bills and it was a pretty good victory- Rex Ryan was put in his place and the Patriots showed positive developments on both sides of the ball.

The rookies on the offensive line flashed their ability and the skill players were unstoppable, with even Aaron Dobson getting in the mix. Hopefully he's able to continue the positive momentum and take advantage of his time with Brandon LaFell sidelined with an injury.

On the defensive side, the secondary had a solid outing, but the pass rush was the game's highlight. Jamie Collins and Chandler Jones were menaces throughout the game and Jabaal Sheard continues to add value off the bench. Dont'a Hightower even caught Bills quarterback Tyrod Taylor off guard and rookie defensive tackle Malcom Brown collected a sack.

The Jaguars are coming off a victory against the Miami Dolphins so New England won't be taking them lightly. They feature a pretty good squad at all positions, even if they don't make the headlines. There's even one star in the making at wide receiver.
