The New England Patriots have announced their inactives for their week three match-up vs. the Jacksonville Jaguars:
Bradley Fletcher, CB
Travaris Cadet, RB
Ryan Wendell, C
Michael Hoomanawanui, TE
Tavon Wilson, S
Trey Flowers, DE
Rufus Johnson, DE
The big news here is that cornerback Bradley Fletcher is inactive after not being on the injury report. Unless he suffered some undisclosed injury during warm-ups, this is a healthy scratch. Considering his poor play over the first two weeks of the season, this only comes as a mild surprise. Cornerback Justin Coleman has been elevated above Fletcher on the depth chart, and is active for the first time this season.
Michael Hoomanawanui is another surprise healthy scratch. Looks like the Patriots will stay away from the four tight end look today. In addition, James White gets the nod over Travaris Cadet.
Defensive tackle Dominique Easley also returns to action today after suffering a hip injury week one against the Steelers. He was listed as questionable.
