Hopefully your regular season of fantasy football ended on a good note in week 16, so Daily Fantasy is all that remains for week 17. I finished third in my office league, but I posted the most points in the regular season, which means that my process worked; it was just some bad luck in the playoffs.
Week 17 of the regular season is pretty funky for fantasy sports, especially when a team like the Patriots have homefield advantage on the line. New England should be playing for a victory, but they could very well ease up at the end of the game if they have a big lead.
Quarterback Tom Brady is in a shaky position with receivers Julian Edelman and Danny Amendola questionable to play. Tight end Rob Gronkowski can't be a one-man offense, so receivers Brandon LaFell and Keshawn Martin will have to step up, as will the rotation at running back.
Can Steven Jackson take the starting running back position from Brandon Bolden? Will the coaching staff finally get James White involved?
Point is that there are far too many questions revolving around the Patriots to trust them in fantasy football this week. Stay away and hope for better health next year.
