NFL Playoffs Patriots vs Chiefs Three Stars of the Game: Patrick Chung was a SuperHero

Honorable Mentions: Cornerback Malcolm Butler did a pretty good job all game, while the offense would not have been the same without tight end Rob Gronkowski or wide receiver Julian Edelman, and I could put any of them on the top three. But I can't.

Third Star: The Patriots offensive line seemed to hold back one of the better defenses in the league. Chiefs pass rusher Justin Houston barely played, but did it ever seem like there was any pressure? The Patriots didn't really try to run the ball, but New England had no problem keeping the quarterback clean. Brilliant performance.

Second Star: Safety Patrick Chung limited Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce to 23 yards on 6 receptions. That's it. How incredible is that? Chung was absolutely outstanding, especially with his rodeo tackle. He was the star on the defense.

First Star: Quarterback Tom Brady completed 28/42 (66.7%) for 302 yards, 2 touchdowns, 0 interceptions, and a touchdown dive. What more could the Patriots ask from the greatest quarterback in NFL history?
