The New England Patriots kicked off the Divisional Round with a resounding 27-20 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs as the home teams won every game on the weekend. That was in stark contrast to Wild Card weekend, when the road teams won every single game.
Our guess for next week? Look for one home team to win, and one road team to win.
The Patriots handled the Chiefs with relative ease, compared to the rest of the games around the league. The Cardinals overcame multiple Hail Marys from the Packers and Aaron Rodgers, while the Panthers survived a scoreless second half to hold on to a win against the Seahawks.
And then there was the Steelers and the Broncos. Both teams looked atrocious, but only one team had an excuse.
