The Patriots already traveled to Denver in order to get more used to the atmospheric conditions in Denver. Not making the trip were Tre' Jackson and LaAdrian Waddle. Neither guy is a key member of the offensive line with Josh Kline finally healthy and Shaq Mason having some success at RG against Kansas City last week
The offensive game plan isn't that much different, it's going to be pass-heavy, so the having the same five OL will be important. Jackson has been battling a knee injury since the Week 8 game against the Dolphins and Waddle battling a shoulder injury since Week 16 that has essentially kept him out of action in addition to being on the bottom of the roster. Both players participated in practice on Thursday and Friday and were listed as questionable on the injury report. The Patriots will have to make five game-time decisions to fill up the rest of the inactives report.
In case anyone asks, all the key players on the team listed on the injury report will play. Dont'a Hightower, Jamie Collins, Julian Edelman, and Rob Gronkowski will all be available, and I don't believe they will be limited on the field. Bill Belichick just lists them as Questionable because everyone keeps asking if they'll play or not. That's why they're Questionable.
