Broncos RB C.J. Anderson Shares His Conversation with Patriots QB Tom Brady After the Game

The Denver Broncos defeated the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship game. While some members of the Broncos chose to go in a different direction, the Patriots decided to go the classy route and move on to the next season.

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady's story is well known; he's the 6th round draft pick, the 199th overall player that overcame all the odds to be the greatest player in football history. Every football fan knows it and every underdog football player looks to that story for inspiration.

Brady met up with undrafted Broncos running back C.J. Anderson after the game, and Anderson shared their conversation on social media.

"Bless what he [Brady] told me at the end of this game," Anderson wrote via Instagram (sic on everything). "He said 'CJ way to fight and prove everybody wrong you belong in this league and your one hell of a player I love the way you run keep climbing to be great.'"

"Those words meant so much growing up watching Tom overcame I'm proud to say I'm 3-2 vs his teams and proud to say I get to battle him every year. Thanks Tom for telling me those words they will stick and I know a lot of people don't like you but I have MAD RESPECT. Thanks I see you overcome as others in this league and now it's my turn."

Brady offered nothing but support to the Broncos after the game and Anderson will remember their conversation for the rest of his life.
