The NFL has announced the time and date details for the AFC Playoffs.
The Wild Card round will play as follows:
Saturday, January 9th
(5) Kansas City Chiefs @ (4) Houston Texans at 4:35 PM EST on ESPN/ABC
(6) Pittsburgh Steelers @ (3) Cincinnati Bengals at 8:15 PM EST on CBS
The Patriots will face the highest seed to make it through the wild card round, which means it will be one of the Bengals, Texans, or Chiefs. The Patriots will not be able to face the Steelers until the AFC Championship Game.
The Divisional round will play as follows:
Saturday, January 16th
High Seed @ (2) New England Patriots at 4:35 PM EST on CBS
Sunday, January 17th
Low Seed @ (1) Denver Broncos at 4:40 PM EST on CBS
The benefit of playing the first game is that the victor will be able to get a head start on the tape of the next opponent. That's looking slightly far ahead, but the Patriots will absolutely be prepared.
The Conference Championship round will play as follows:
Sunday, January 24th
Low Seed @ High Seed at 3:05 PM EST on CBS
