On Sunday, the New England Patriots will play one of the biggest games of their seasons when they take on the Pittsburgh Steelers; a game, that could very well determine who will hold the AFC’s top seed come playoff time. Heading into the matchup, the Patriots are relatively healthy when compared to their opponent, with no players having yet been declared out.
This means that the team has to declare seven players out tomorrow. One of them might be linebacker Jamie Collins, who was listed as questionable on yesterday’s injury report. However, the Pro Bowler is on his way back from the hip injury that forced him to miss last week’s game – and according to Jeff Howe he did make the trip west with the team:
Jamie Collins traveled with the Patriots to Pittsburgh today, per source. Missed last week with hip injury.
While it remains to be seen if Collins will be active tomorrow, this is obviously a good sign for his recovery from the injury. Even if the 27-year old will indeed play, seeing rookie Elandon Roberts play a heavy dose of defensive snaps would not be a surprise.
