With his 36 yard touchdown reception against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Rob Gronkowski tied fellow Patriots legend Stanley Morgan for most TD catches as a Patriot. Stanley Morgan was before most of our times, but he is one of the greatest receivers the Patriots have ever had, or will ever have. That Gronk tied his record as a tight end is remarkable. One more touchdown reception and he'll be alone in first place, a feat he hopes to accomplish next Sunday against the Bufflalo Bills.
During his postgame interview, he was asked about reaching the milestone. His answer was about as Gronk as it gets:
Gronk on his franchise record-tying 68th touchdown: "One more and I got 69 touchdowns, if you know what I mean." Seriously.

We know what you mean, Gronk: if you score 69 career touchdowns, you'll be 1st All-Time within the franchise, and that means a lot to you. We read you loud and clear.
Never change, Gronk. Never change.
