Later today, week 10 of the 2016 NFL season will be kicked off. The New England Patriots won’t enter the action until Sunday night, when the team takes on the Seattle Seahawks. Both teams project to be near full physical strength, as today’s injury reports show.
Via the Patriots, theirs looks as follows:
TE Martellus Bennett (Ankle): Limited Participation
DT Alan Branch (Back): Limited Participation
WR Julian Edelman (Foot): Limited Participation
When we compare today’s participation list to yesterday’s, we see that there have not been any changes as Bennett, Branch and Edelman were once again limited during today’s practice. However, their respective injuries will likely not force them to miss Sunday’s game. If anything, the trio might play on a limited snap count.
Dion Lewis, who is projected to get activated off the PUP list soon, did once again practice with the team. Since he is not yet on the active roster, the team does not have to list him on the report.
While New England’s injury report looks the same as yesterday, the Seahawks’ has undergone some changes:
DE Michael Bennett (Knee): Did Not Participate
TE Jimmy Graham (Knee): Limited Participation
RB Thomas Rawls (Fibula): Limited Participation
SS Kam Chancellor (Groin): Full Participation
CB DeAndre Elliott (Hamstring): Full Participation
DE Cassius Marsh (Ankle): Full Participation
OT Bradley Sowell (Knee): Full Participation
QB Russell Wilson (Knee): Full Participation
TE Luke Willson (Knee): Full Participation
Graham, who was listed as a non-participant due to non-injury related reasons yesterday, returned to practice but was limited with a knee issue. The status of defensive end Cassius Marsh also changed: He was absent yesterday but a full participant during today’s session. Tight end Luke Willson also practiced fully after being limited yesterday.
