Patriots re-sign FB Glenn Gronkowski to the practice squad

New England has brought Rob Gronkowski’s brother back.

The New England Patriots have re-signed FB Glenn Gronkowski to the practice squad. Gronkowski originally signed with the Buffalo Bills and made their 53-man roster. He was cut shortly after the season started.

The Patriots signed Gronkowski to the practice squad on October 1st, but released him on October 12th. Gronkowski re-signed with the Patriots on October 17th and was subsequently released on November 7th.

Gronkowski is back just as his older brother TE Rob Gronkowski suffered a chest injury. It is unknown if head coach Bill Belichick is harvesting the younger Gronkowski’s organs to heal the All Pro tight end. But since taking organs from siblings isn’t against the official NFL rules, let’s not rule it out just yet.

Welcome back, Baby Gronk.
