Week 11 Patriots vs 49ers final injury report: TE Rob Gronkowski, WR Chris Hogan OUT

The Patriots have released their final injury report.

The New England Patriots and San Francisco 49ers have released their final injury reports for Sunday’s game.

Patriots DT Alan Branch (back) has been removed from the injury report and OT Nate Solder (non-injury) returned to practice after missing time on Thursday.

TE Martellus Bennett (ankle) and WR Julian Edelman (foot) are both listed as QUESTIONABLE after being limited participants at practice. Both are expected to play and to have major roles in the offense because TE Rob Gronkowski (chest) and WR Chris Hogan (back) have been declared OUT for Sunday.

Gronkowski injured his chest against the Seattle Seahawks, while Hogan hurt himself prior to facing the Seahawks and was clearly limited during the game. Bennett should step up in Gronkowski’s place, while rookie Malcolm Mitchell might receive extensive time with Hogan sidelined.

The 49ers have declared ED Aaron Lynch (ankle) OUT. Lynch is a great pass rusher, so this should help the Patriots pass blocking. CB Rashard Robinson (knee) and WR Torrey Smith (shoulder) are both questionable after being limited all week. Both are also key starters. All other players were full participants.
