Week 12 Monday Night Football Packers vs Eagles live updates and Patriots rooting guide

The (5-5) Philadelphia Eagles are hosting the (4-6) Green Bay Packers on Monday Night Football. Kickoff is at 8:30 PM EST on ESPN. The Eagles are 4-point favorites.

The Eagles are in last place in the NFC East, while the Packers are in the middle of a 4-game losing streak and sit in third place in the NFC North. Both teams need a win if they’re going to remain in the playoff hunt.

The Packers 7-year streak of reaching the playoffs is in jeopardy as they trail the (7-4) Lions and (6-5) Vikings. This streak is tied with the Patriots for the longest active in the NFL. The record is 9-straight, by the 1975-83 Cowboys and the 2002-10 Colts.

The Patriots don’t care which team wins as this doesn’t affect them. The question is whether the Eagles defense would be able to surprise and eliminate a powerhouse like the Cowboys or Seahawks, or if Packers QB Aaron Rodgers could do the same from the offensive side.
