Black Friday is over. Cyber Monday is in the books. Welcome to Giving Tuesday.
Giving Tuesday, designated as the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, marks the beginning of the charitable season in which people everywhere give to those most in need. The holidays are traditionally the time of year where we turn our attention to thinking about what we can do for others, and so if any of you find yourselves looking for a worthy cause this December, I'd love to invite you to help Pats Pulpit take part in the Best Buddies Challenge.
Best Buddies is an organization dedicated to creating opportunities for mentorship and employment for individuals with mental and developmental disabilities, and Tom Brady and the Patriots have been partnering up with them for years now. It's a privilege to be representing this fantastic blog at the road race in Cape Cod this June, where I will huff, puff, vomit, and stagger my way across three grueling miles of unforgiving terrain that will represent 2.73 miles longer than I have run in well over a decade now. While you're all welcome to join me for the event in Hyannis Port on June 3rd (full details here), I'll also gladly accept any donation for the cause.
So if you enjoy the content we produce here at Pats Pulpit, here is your chance to show your appreciation by supporting us in raising money for a great organization. Click here to visit the Pats Pupit Best Buddies Challenge page and make a donation - any amount is greatly appreciated. I'm hoping to have some cool Pats Pulpit swag to hand out to folks who donate soon - polos, t-shirts, hats, and yes, even an autographed photo of yours truly - but am still working out some of the details of that. But rest assured, any donations made now will be applicable to receiving all the cool gear I'm trying to procure, so give early and give often.
