The New England Patriots are heavy favorites to win the division, the conference, and the Super Bowl according to Bovada.
The Patriots have 1/75 odds to win the AFC East, which means you have to bet $75 to win a measly $1. The Bills (14/1) are falling, while the Dolphins (40/1) and the Jets (66/1) have better odds this week than last week for some reason.
When you look to the whole AFC, the Patriots have 10/11 odds of representing the conference in the Super Bowl. This means you need to bet $11 to win $10. The Steelers (6/1) haven’t changed, while the Broncos (7/1), Chiefs (7/1), Raiders (12/1), and Texans (20/1) have improved this past week, likely due to the weak AFC field. The Bengals (25/1) and Colts (25/1) are considered longshots.
The Patriots have improved their Super Bowl odds, too, and have 2/1 odds, well ahead of every other team. The Cowboys are in second at 9/1 and the Seahawks are third with 10/1.
The Packers (12/1), Broncos (14/1), Vikings (14/1), Steelers (14/1), Falcons (16/1), Chiefs (16/1), Cardinals (25/1), and Raiders (25/1) fill out the rest of the field.
Patriots QB Tom Brady has 5/4 odds of winning the NFL MVP Award and it’s really just a three horse race, with Falcons QB Matt Ryan (11/2) and Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliott (15/2) the only real competition at this point.
Cowboys QB Dak Prescott (12/1), Raiders QB Derek Carr (12/1), Cardinals RB David Johnson (20/1), are followed by a quartet of quarterbacks in Saints QB Drew Brees, Colts QB Andrew Luck, Packers QB Aaron Rodgers, and Seahawks QB Russell Wilson at 25/1.
