Patriots release behind the scenes mic’d up video from the Jets game

The Patriots needed to dig down deep to come back and beat the Jets.

The New England Patriots have released their behind-the-scenes Sights and Sounds from week 12 against the New York Jets. You can watch it here.

Perhaps it was the acoustics of the stadium, but it was very difficult to hear the likes of offensive line coach Dante Scarnecchia and quarterback Tom Brady on the sideline. Most of the video is the game audio from Bob Socci and Scott Zolak.

One thing that was curious to be was how tight end Martellus Bennett broke down the tight end end huddle, instead of captain Rob Gronkowski. This isn’t a rare thing, since fullback James Develin has broken down the huddle at times, but it’s great to see how Bennett was taken on a leadership role with the Patriots in such a short time.
