Week 15 Patriots-Broncos injury report: LB Dont’a Hightower added with knee injury

The Patriots need their linebackers healthy against the Broncos.

The New England Patriots and Denver Broncos have released their Thursday injury report for week 15. LB Dont’a Hightower and OT Russell Okung represents the only changes on the report from Wednesday.

Did Not Practice

Patriots: WR Danny Amendola (ankle)
Broncos: LB Todd Davis (ribs), LS Casey Kreiter (calf), LB Brandon Marshall (hamstring), OC Matt Paradis (hips)

Amendola was not expected to play, but the Broncos are suffering from three serious injuries. Davis and Marshall are the starting linebackers and it looks like they might not be able to play on Sunday. Paradis is the Broncos only good offensive lineman, and arguably their best offensive player.

Limited Practice

Patriots: TE Martellus Bennett (ankle/shoulder), CB Malcolm Butler (hip), SS Jordan Richards (knee), LB Elandon Roberts (hamstring), CB Eric Rowe (hamstring), WR Matthew Slater (foot), LB Dont’a Hightower (knee)
Broncos: N/A

Hightower is a new addition to the injury report, which is important to note. The Patriots lost control of the regular game against the Broncos in 2015 when Hightower left with an injury; hopefully the star linebacker will be available for the entire game. All other injuries were expected.

Full Practice

Patriots: N/A
Broncos: OT Russell Okung (non-football injury), TE AJ Derby (groin), WR Bennie Fowler (knee), LB Corey Nelson (finger), QB Trevor Siemian (foot), CB Aqib Talib (back), OLB DeMarcus Ware (thigh)
