Week 15 Patriots vs Broncos inactives: Denver missing starting linebacker, Patriots healthy

The Broncos look like they’ll struggle against the run.

The New England Patriots and Denver Broncos have released gameday inactives for week 15.

Patriots

DT Woodrow Hamilton (4th DT)
WR Danny Amendola (ankle)
CB Cyrus Jones (fumbles)
RB D.J. Foster (5th RB)
OT LaAdrian Waddle (4th OT)
WR Michael Floyd (new)
SS Jordan Richards (knee)

The Patriots have no surprises in their actives. Jones is inactive due to his fumble problems in the return game; his absence opens up opportunities for CB Eric Rowe and CB Justin Coleman to rise up the depth chart.

Amendola and Richards are the only two players inactive due to injury and Richards is likely healthy enough to play. Everyone else is a depth player that is expected to be inactive.

Broncos

The Broncos will miss LB Brandon Marshall, but fellow starting LB Todd Davis (ribs) will play, which is a good boost for the Denver defense. Still, the Broncos will be weaker up the middle against the run.
