The (13-2) New England Patriots are traveling to face the (10-5) Miami Dolphins.
The Patriots are looking to lock up the #1 seed in the AFC playoffs for the sixth time under head coach Bill Belichick. New England has reached the Super Bowl four of the previous five times (2003, 2007, 2011, 2014; did not reach in 2010) and have gone 2-2 in the Championship game.
A New England victory will also secure the Patriots an 8-0 road record for the 2016. Only six teams in NFL history have been 8-0 on the road for a single season: the San Francisco 49ers (1984, 1989, 1990), the St. Louis Rams (2001), the New England Patriots (2007), and the Dallas Cowboys (2014).
The Patriots defeated the Miami Dolphins 31-24 back in week 2, but the Dolphins had clawed back from a 31-3 deficit; New England needed an end zone interception in the waning moments to seal the victory.
