Perhaps this is the first step in clearing up the New England Patriots muddled picture at wide receiver.
According to Patriots wide receiver Brian Tyms, who is currently a restricted free agent, the deep threat receiver will not be returning to New England.

Brian Tyms was a shooting star in New England and was unable to put together a healthy campaign. He was responsible for some fantastic highlights and one of the greatest preseason touchdown catches that didn't actually count because replays are laughable.

The Patriots will continue on their quest to try and find a viable outside wide receiver that can last in the offense for more than two or three seasons.
The current depth chart of outside wide receivers is: 1) Brandon LaFell; 2) Aaron Dobson; 3) Chris Harper
Look for the franchise to address the position this offseason (again).
