All of Bill Belichick's Front Office Proteges in One Picture

New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick is also responsible for leading the team's front office. Nick Caserio serves as his Director of Player Personnel, the de facto General Manager for the team.

Coaches, general managers, and other executives are attending the NFL Owners' Meeting and all of the offshoots of Belichick's front office tree are in attendance.

Jon Robinson, who served as the Patriots director of college scouting until 2013, is the current general manager of the Tennessee Titans. Robinson left the Patriots to join Jason Licht, the general manager of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 2013-2015.

Licht served as the Patriots assistant director of player personnel from 2003-05, serving under then-vice president of player personnel Scott Pioli. Licht bounced around the league for a few seasons before rejoining the Patriots from 2009-2011.

Pioli left the Patriots to become general manager of the Kansas City Chiefs from 2009 to 2012. He currently acts as assistant general manager of the Atlanta Falcons, under general manager Thomas Dimitroff.

Dimitroff was the Patriots director of college scouting until he left to lead the Falcons in 2008.

Bob Quinn was the Patriots director of pro scouting until he took on the general manager role for the Detroit Lions this past offseason.

Belichick's front office tree is much stronger than his coaching tree. It seems that Belichick's style of team building translates better across franchises than his coaching methods.
