The ink from the draft hasn't even dried and the Patriots have already signed two draft picks, per the Boston Globe's Ben Volin.
#Patriots third round pick, OL Joe Thuney, has already signed his rookie deal. Four years, $3.54m deal with a signing bonus of $773,428

#Patriots 6th round pick, LB/S Kamu Grugier-Hill, has also signed his rookie contract. 4 years, $2.61m with a $100,356 signing bonus

The Collective Bargaining Agreement puts the rookies on a wage scale, which means that each draft pick already knows how much they're going to earn purely based on their draft pick.
Thuney's deal includes a nice chunk of guaranteed money and he should be considered a roster lock, while KGH is on the opposite end of the spectrum- consider him a camp body, and any production from him is gravy.
I'm sure we'll be hearing about more signings- and possibly all of them- over the next couple of days.
