The New England Patriots are meeting for the final public practice of the opening week of training camp. Monday will feature the Patriots Hall of Fame induction ceremony for running back Kevin Faulk and the practice that follows is only open to season ticket holders.
The next practices open to the public will be Thursday, August 4th, and Friday, August 5th.
The Patriots appreciate the fans in attendance and credit the energy as a tonic to get them through the heat of the day.
“The fans add a lot,” Patriots All Pro tight end Rob Gronkowski said this week. “We [have capacity crowds at] all these practices which is super cool. You've got to give huge credit to our fans. They're always there during practice, during games, during tough times, during the good times. You've got to give them huge credit. [Capacity] crowd, I don't even know how many it holds there, but they're always cheering. Even if it's a dropped pass they're cheering, which makes it's funny and gets you through practice.”
So keep showing up to support the team! They love it!
