The New England Patriots are playing host to the New Orleans Saints for the first preseason game of 2016 and a lot of familiar faces won’t be playing.
Quarterback Tom Brady will be sitting out, as will the likes of running back Dion Lewis, wide receivers Julian Edelman, Danny Amendola, Chris Hogan, and Keshawn Martin, right tackle Sebastian Vollmer, and defensive lineman Rob Ninkovich.
Alec and Rich don’t get a day off, though, and they’ll be hosting the first Pats Pulpit Pregame Preseason Preview at 6:30 PM EST. They’ll break down the two sides, which players are going to stand out, which ones will flop, and who has the most pressure to succeed.
Oh, and there will be plenty of over-evaluation of Jimmy Garoppolo and how he appears to be stretching on the field before the game. He needs to stretch like a champion in order to win tonight.
