Live updates from day 15 of Patriots training camp on 8/16/16: Change in practice time; Will TE Rob Gronkowski make an appearance?

The Patriots continue to battle the heat as they change practice time

The New England Patriots have moved up their next two practices with the Chicago Bears, possibly in order to avoid the heat of the day. After scheduling Tuesday and Wednesday practice for the early afternoon, the teams decided to bump it up to the morning.

Tuesday and Wednesday practice will now take place between 10:00am and 12:15pm. Wednesday is the last practice that will be open to the public during training camp.

Tuesday will be an interesting time to see what players are available. Edge defender Jabaal Sheard has missed the past two practices, while linebacker Shea McClellin was nowhere to be found on Monday. Wide receiver Julian Edelman continues to work his way back on the field, while edge defender Rob Ninkovich and wide receiver Malcolm Mitchell are conditioning, but not participating.

Also, we’ll start Gronk Watch: 2016.

Stay cool out there, everyone.
