The New England Patriots will travel to Arizona to face the Cardinals in week 1 and will host the Houston Texans in week 3. The Texans are currently hosting the Cardinals for week 3 of the preseason.
Kick off is at 4:25 PM EST and it will be on FOX.
The Patriots are preparing for the regular season and have sent a pair of scouts to watch this event.
“With the Cardinals visiting the Texans on Sunday in the third preseason game for both teams, it's a nice opportunity for the Patriots to scout two of their first three opponents in the regular season,” ESPN’s Mike Reiss wrote in his Sunday notes. “That's why the club has planned to have two scouts on hand, Steve Cargile and Frank Ross, likely so each can focus on one specific team.”
The big storyline, for me, is how the pass rushes of these two teams look. If they struggle to pressure the quarterback, Jimmy Garoppolo will have plenty of time in the pocket and should find his rhythm.
