The New England Patriots have to cut their roster down to 75 players by 4 PM EST today, August 30th. They will play the New York Giants this week and immediately continue the cutdowns and bring the final roster to 53 players by 4 PM EST on Sunday, September 4th.
Which players make the cut? Are there any more surprises in store?
Alec and Rich debate which players should ultimately make the team and whether or not the Patriots will keep the likes of D.J. Foster, Aaron Dobson, and Clay Harbor- or whether a lineman like Cameron Fleming or Ted Karras will sneak on the team.
The defensive side of the ball is looking particularly strong and the Patriots have added some serious depth to their front seven- to the point where some quality players might not make the team.
