New England Patriots rookie cornerback Cre’Von LeBlanc missed practice on Tuesday, which was bad timing for speculation. The Patriots have to cut the team down to 75 players and any player that missed practice was an obvious target for discussion.
Fortunately, LeBlanc is still with the team and has not been cut. Unfortunately, he is dealing with a hip injury.
Cre'Von LeBlanc is dealing with a hip injury, per source. That's why he missed today's practice.

LeBlanc is battling Darryl Roberts and Jonathan Jones for the 5th and final cornerback spot and is expected to receive plenty of snaps this week against the Giants. He is considered the front runner and received snaps with the first team defense against the Panthers, which is why it would have been a surprise if he had been released.
Hopefully the injury is minor and he will be available to return against the Giants.
