Patriots fans should be fairly invested in this week’s Thursday Night Football showdown between the New York Jets and the Buffalo Bills. Kick off is at 8:25 PM EST and the game will be shown on CBS and NFL Network.
Both teams are 0-1 and are trying to avoid a big hole to start the season.
The Bills are led by head coach Rex Ryan, who used to coach the Jets. The Buffalo offense managed to score just seven points in week 1 against the Bills. Another loss could sink their ship and the Bills could be on their way to firing Rex halfway through the season. The Patriots play the Bills in week 4.
The Jets lost at home to the Bengals in week 1 on a last second field goal. Less than 14% of teams that start 0-2 ever make the playoffs, so the Jets need to win or else their window of competition will have slammed shut.
