The New England Patriots have signed offensive lineman Ian Silberman to the practice squad. The 6’5, 310 pound Silberman was a 6th round pick out of Boston College by the San Francisco 49ers in the 2015 draft. He was released during cut downs before the 2016 season.
The Patriots signed OL Ian Silberman to the practice squad. They now must make a corresponding move.

Silberman has experience playing tackle in college, but he is considered a guard in the NFL.
The Patriots already have two offensive linemen on the practice squad in OG Chris Barker and OT Clay DeBord. Three linemen on the squad would seem excessive, so I wonder if one of those two will be moved. LT Nate Solder and RT Marcus Cannon are dealing with minor injuries, so perhaps this is somehow related.
We’ll keep you updated on the corresponding roster movement.
