Week 2 Patriots vs Dolphins: Live updates, early games picks and rooting guide

Cowboys at Washington (-3): I feel like this will be a sneaky sloppy game, but I think Washington has enough ability to come away with the win. This game doesn't affect the Patriots.

49ers at Panthers (-14): This is a huge spread. While I think the Panthers win, I expect the 49ers to cover. This game doesn't affect the Patriots, but the 49ers are on the future schedule.

Titans at Lions (-6): The battle of former Patriots executives. I think the Lions win comfortably and cover. Patriots might be rooting for the Titans because they offer an easier opponent in the playoffs than the Texans or Colts.

Dolphins at Patriots (-6.5): Watch the video below!

Saints at Giants (-4): The Saints defense is atrocious, but I have a sneaking suspicion that Drew Brees is going to do enough with the offense to win this straight up. The Patriots don't care which team wins.

Chiefs at Texans (-1): The Texans and Chiefs seem to be pretty equally matched, but I think the Texans are in a good place to win this game. The Patriot would probably rather see the Chiefs win because 1) the Texans come to town next week, so exposing their flaws would be nice; 2) Chiefs would probably be an easier out in the playoffs than the Broncos.

Ravens (-6) at Browns: I think the Ravens win this, but I don't think they cover. This is going to be an ugly, sloppy game. The Ravens only posted 13 points in week one.

Bengals at Steelers (-3): I think the Steelers win a close game. I'm surprised this is a 1:00 PM game. The Patriots will be playing both of these teams at some point this year, but they would probably rather the Bengals win to get an edge in the AFC North.
