The New England Patriots have released their Monday injury report and it's a lot shorter than the 11-player list from week 2. Hopefully it doesn't grow this week.
Did Not Practice
Patriots: QB Jimmy Garoppolo (shoulder), LB Dont'a Hightower (knee), CB Eric Rowe (ankle)
Texans: OT Duane Brown (knee), LB Brian Cushing (knee), WR Braxton Miller (hamstring)
Garoppolo is clearly the most important player here, but Brown and Cushing are one of the top three players on the Texans offensive and defensive units. The Texans offensive line has been pretty bad, while Cushing is a good linebacker.
Limited Practice
Patriots: OG Jonathan Cooper (foot), ED Trey Flowers (shoulder), TE Rob Gronkowski (hamstring)
Texans: OG Jeff Allen (calf), CB A.J. Bouye (shoulder), OT Chris Clark (elbow, ankle), LB Jadeveon Clowney (foot), CB Kevin Johnson (thumb), P Shane Lechler (back), OT Derek Newton (knee), FB Jay Prosch (back), DE J.J. Watt (back)
Gronkowski is at risk of missing his third straight game, while Flowers played despite being on the list last week. Allen, Clark, and Newton are linemen for the Texans, while Clowney and Watt are two of the most important defenders. Johnson is a starting cornerback, too.
Full Practice
Patriots: N/A
Texans: DE Christian Covington (groin), QB Brock Osweiler (back), LB John Simon (wrist)
Osweiler is pretty important as the starting quarterback, while Simon has played well recently.
Changes
The Patriots have dropped the following players from the injury report: CB Malcolm Butler (ankle), OT Marcus Cannon (knee), OG Shaq Mason (hand), LB Shea McClellin (shoulder), OT Nate Solder (hamstring), WR Chris Hogan (shoulder).
