WATCH: Patriots RB LeGarrette Blount scores on a MONSTER 41-yard touchdown run

New England keeps scoring.

The New England Patriots’ offense is led by the team’s third-string quarterback. However, the Jacoby Brissett-led unit is still looking good – particularly on the ground. LeGarrette Blount is a big reason why as his second touchdown of the day shows:

Blount has already amassed 102 rushing yards on 20 carries, two of which for scores. The above run, which is his longest of the season, is one of them.

New England’s lead back follows fullback James Develin towards the right side. Some great downfield blocking by wide receivers Chris Hogan and Julian Edelman as well as good push by the Patriots’ offensive line helped Blount, who also broke a tackle, get to the open field. And, 41 yards later, to the endzone.

Blount’s touchdown run and the subsequent extra point puts the Patriots atop 27-0 against the previously undefeated Houston Texans. New England is on its way to improve to 3-0.
