I’m going to be upfront: this is peak Rex Ryan and I love it. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with these antics and I find them hilarious. Rex asking the hard hitting questions of Patriots players that we, the fans, really want to know.
The Bills have released footage of their head coach jumping into a media call with Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman to ask about the starting quarterback.

Rex entered the room for his own press conference, so this was just a coincidence.
“Julian, this is Walt Patulski from the Buffalo News,” Rex asks. “Are you playing quarterback this week?”
“Huh?,” a clearly confused Edelman responds.
“Are you playing quarterback this week?” Rex says, looking like he was going to walk away and not receive an answer.
“Well, I’m going to do whatever the coaches ask me to do,” Julian answers, forcing Rex to start cracking up on camera. “So if they ask me to go out and ask me to get a glass of water to someone on the sideline, I’m going to do that. I'm gonna do that with a smile on my face if it helps our team win. So you can ask Coach that one."
Rex and the Bills media are laughing it up at this point.
"All right Julian, I will, buddy," Rex says with a big smile on his face.
Great joke all around.
Oh, and Edelman will remember this and post 200+ yards and 3 touchdowns on the day and the Patriots will win by double digits. So. Win-win.
