Week 4 Patriots vs Bills Thursday injury report: Garoppolo and Brissett limited

New, comments

The Patriots have released their second injury report of the week.

There are no changes to the Patriots side of the injury report as the same eight players were limited for the second straight day.

Limited Practice

QB Jacoby Brissett (right thumb)
OT Marcus Cannon (calf)
OG Jonathan Cooper (foot)
LB Jonathan Freeny (shoulder)
QB Jimmy Garoppolo (right shoulder)
TE Rob Gronkowski (hamstring)
LB Dont’a Hightower (knee)
CB Eric Rowe (ankle)

We’re all looking for the day where Gronkowski is no longer listed, but it’s important to note that Garoppolo, Cannon, Hightower, Freeny, and even Cooper could be considered starters of note. Hopefully they will all continue to get better for Sunday’s game.

The Bills had a few changes to their practice report.

Did Not Practice

OL Patrick Lewis (knee)
OL Cyrus Kouandijo (ankle)
WR Sammy Watkins (foot)
WR Greg Salas (groin) - was limited on Wednesday
DB Jonathan Meeks (foot) - was limited on Wednesday

Limited Practice

TE Charles Clay (knee) - did not practice on Wednesday
DB Colt Anderson (foot)
DB Ronald Darby (hamstring)
QB Cardale Jones (right shoulder)
DB Aaron Williams (ankle)
OL Cordy Glenn (ankle)

It’s looking unlikely that Watkins will be a big factor this week, which will will greatly affect the Buffalo passing offense. Clay, Salas, and Glenn are all important pieces in the offense, too.
