The Patriots add some experience to the practice squad by signing wide receiver Devin Street, as first reported by ESPN's Mike Reiss. Street is 6'3", 200 lbs. and has experience at the bottom of the Dallas Cowboys' roster. He saw action in 31 games in 2 years, but only recorded 9 catches for 132 yards and a touchdown.
The Patriots depth at the WR position is a bit thin, but Street would make an emergency signing in case Amendola and Mitchell can't go next Sunday in Arizona.
For the scout team impact, Street figures to give the defense a similar body type to Cardinals WR Michael Floyd. Floyd is the Cardinals' #2 behind Larry Fitzgerald, but can give the Patriots a tough matchup on the boundary against Logan Ryan.
WR Devin Street will be signing with the Patriots practice squad. Was with Cowboys last 2 years.
