2017 AFC Championship Game Patriots vs Steelers: Wednesday injury report; New England has perfect practice attendance

New England is pretty healthy heading into the conference title game.

Prior to last year’s AFC Championship Game, the New England Patriots faced multiple injury-related questions, particularly on the offensive side of the ball. The times, though, are a-changin’ and heading into this year’s conference title game New England is in relatively good physical shape.

The team had perfect practice attendance today but still has some noticeable names listed on their first injury report of the week:

Limited participation

WR Danny Amendola (ankle)

TE Martellus Bennett (knee)

RB Brandon Bolden (knee)

LB Dont’a Hightower (shoulder)

WR Chris Hogan (thigh)

WR Malcolm Mitchell (knee)

DE Jabaal Sheard (knee)

Only two players were listed on last Friday's injury report, wide receivers Malcolm Mitchell (limited) and Danny Amendola (full). Both are on today’s list as well but Amendola returned to being a limited practice participant.

He and Mitchell are joined by five new names on the list. Martellus Bennett and Chris Hogan both were injured during Saturday’s divisional round playoff game against the Houston Texans. While Bennett missed only one play, Hogan did not return. He did however tell Doug Kyed that he was "good".

Bolden, Hightower and Sheard did not suffer any reported injuries on Saturday so it seems as if the team is simply playing it safe by limiting their workload.

While the Patriots’ report is relatively short, the Steelers have a lot of players listed on theirs:
