The (15-2) New England Patriots are hosting the (13-5) Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Patriots are looking to break a 4-way tie to reach an NFL-record 9th Super Bowl in franchise history. The Patriots (4-4 in Super Bowls) are currently tied with the Steelers (6-2), Dallas Cowboys (5-3), and Denver Broncos (3-5).

New England is 8-4 in conference title games, although they are in the middle of a 1-3 skid. Head coach Bill Belichick and quarterback Tom Brady are partaking in their NFL-record 11th conference title game.

The Patriots hold a 19-4 franchise record in home playoff games. Three of those losses have come under Belichick, including two against the Baltimore Ravens and one against the New York Jets. The Patriots are trying to join the Steelers (21 wins), San Francisco 49ers (21), and Cowboys (20) as the only franchises with 20+ home playoff wins.
