I can’t always predict the future, but when I do, the future does the exact opposite of what I predict. The Pittsburgh Steelers had been unable to stop the New England Patriots passing attack all game and QB Tom Brady had connected with WR Chris Hogan for 180 yards and 2 scores. The running backs had combined for 10 yards on 12 carries.
So I foolishly tweeted this:
12 carries, 10 yards for Patriots running backs. Let's stop with that nonsense.

The very next play, Patriots RB LeGarrette Blount ran 18 yards to the goal line while dragging seven Steelers defenders for the final 10 yards. The Steelers couldn’t stop him as the 250-pound running back kept churning his legs.
.@LG_Blount carrying the ENTIRE PIT defense with him.

And he gets the TD on the next play! #PITvsNE #NFLPlayoffs https://t.co/CBgc5sYiDw
Blount bulled his way to the goal line and scored a rushing touchdown on the very next play. The Patriots now lead 27-9 and New England is dominating the Steelers in all phases of the game.
