Today, the AFC Champions will be sent off to Houston.

Yesterday, the New England Patriots held their last practice session at home; the team will fly to Houston later today. Before leaving the Northeast, though, the Patriots will have one final appointment on their schedule: the Super Bowl sendoff rally.

The rally will take place today at 9:00 a.m. ET outside the Hall at Patriot Place. On Saturday, the team announced a detailed timetable of how the event will look like:

9:00 a.m. - Musical performance by the Greater Boston Firefighters Pipes and Drums

9:35 a.m. - Patriots Cheerleaders performance followed by t-shirt toss and giveaways

9:45 a.m. - Patriots radio broadcast team of Bob Socci and Scott Zolak

9:50 a.m. - Former Patriots TE Jermaine Wiggins Interview

9:55 a.m. - Robert Kraft, who will address Patriots Nation followed by: Patriots head coach Bill Belichick and Patriots 2016 team captains

10:15 a.m. - Rally concludes

10:30 a.m. - Patriots buses depart for Logan Airport

The heart of the rally are the speeches of team owner Robert Kraft, head coach Bill Belichick and the Patriots' 2016 captains, Tom Brady, Devin McCourty, Dont'a Hightower, and Matthew Slater. Fellow captain Rob Gronkowski, who is on injured reserve, is not expected to address the crowd.

Furthermore, the team announced that the rally will be streamed live on patriots.com. The stream will start simultaneously with the event at 9:00 a.m. ET.
