Coming out of their mini-bye, the New England Patriots returned to the practice fields yesterday. However, per league rules, the team did not yet have to release an injury report. It did so today giving an indication on the team's health four days away from its week six mathup against the New York Jets.

Let’s take a look at the list (via patriots.com):

Did Not Practice

QB Tom Brady (shoulder)

TE Rob Gronkowski (thigh)

CB Eric Rowe (groin)

OT Nate Solder (not injury related)

After sitting out Tuesday's practice to get an MRI on his shoulder, Tom Brady was a no-show again today. The future Hall of Famer, who is reportedly dealing with a AC joint sprain in his non-throwing shoulder was seen on the practice fields prior to the session and did speak to reporters during the afternoon, so his injury likely is not severe enough to keep him out of Sunday's game.

The same, at least if the Boston Herald's Jeff Howe is to be believed, holds true for Rob Gronkowski. The NFL's best tight end, who missed last Thursday's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers because of the thigh injury he suffered four days earlier, was a non-participant today as well (like Brady, though, he was spotted early). The expectation is that the 28-year old will be ready to go against the New York Jets.

After injuring his groin during the Patriots' week four game against the Carolina Panthers, Eric Rowe remains on the sidelines. There is still some time to get back to the field prior to Sunday's game in New York but as things stand right now, it would not be a surprise to see New England be without its number three cornerback for the second straight game.

Nate Solder, on the other hand, is officially not dealing with an injury. As has been the case last week, when he was a no-show during Tuesday's practice, the veteran left tackle missed today's session for not-injury related reasons.

Limited

RB Rex Burkhead (ribs)

OT Marcus Cannon (ankle)

CB Stephon Gilmore (ankle)

LB Dont'a Hightower (knee)

LB Elandon Roberts (ankle)

WR Matthew Slater (hamstring)

All six of the players who were limited during today's practice have been listed on last week's final injury report as well. And with the exception of Rex Burkhead, who is projected to be ready to go against the Jets, all were able to suit up last week versus the Buccaneers. Consequently, it can be expected that Marcus Cannon, Stephon Gilmore, Dont'a Hightower, Elandon Roberts and Matthew Slater will be ready to go on Sunday as well.

The Jets' injury report reads as follows – and lists a total of 16 players:

Did not participate

DT Muhammad Wilkerson (knee)

RB Bilal Powell (calf)

Limited participation

CB Darryl Roberts (hamstring)

DE Kony Ealy (shoulder)

RB Matt Forte (knee/toe)

DT Leonard Williams (wrist)

OL Kelvin Beachum (knee)
