The New England Patriots worked out a pair of tight ends according to ESPN’s Mike Reiss. The Patriots are just keeping their list of potential players updated and they are looking for tight ends with NFL experience.
Patriots had a couple of free-agent TEs - Will Tye and Evan Baylis - in to the facility today. Always keeping personnel wheels spinning.

The 6’2, 260-pound Will Tye was undrafted in 2015 but played two seasons with the New York Giants. He was released by the Giants on September 2nd, 2017 and was claimed off waivers by the New York Jets. The Jets released him on October 3rd.
Tye has 897 career receiving yards and 4 touchdowns on 94 receptions as a productive receiver with the Jets. He has 4.57s 40-yard dash speed and certainly offers value to the Patriots offense if they want to add a more explosive receiving tight end.
The 6’6, 245-pound Evan Baylis was undrafted this year out of Oregon and spent time with both the Houston Texans and Indianapolis Colts this year. Baylis is quicker than he is fast and adds value as a blocker. He’s more of a practice squad candidate.
