The New England Patriots are looking to stay on pace in the AFC in their first divisional game of the season. The New York Jets are overachieving- they have the same record as the Patriots!- and need to be brought back down to earth. Hopefully both teams can play at the levels expected of them during the offseason.
The winner will stay atop the AFC East for at least one more week, while the other will have a lot of ground to make-up with difficult stretches of the schedule on the horizon. This isn’t a “must-win” game for the Patriots, but it’s certainly a “should-win.”
